Since construction sites are prone to workplace accidents, Ashpilia Arts management emphasizes the necessity
of following proper safety procedures at the start of each project.

This includes posting safety instructions at the site entrance, fencing off the area to prevent unauthorized entry,
and surrounding elevated areas with protective barriers to avoid falls from great heights.

The supervising engineer is responsible for monitoring the implementation of these precautions,
and for inspecting all machines, equipment, and scaffolding used on site on a daily and regular basis to ensure safety.

Ashpilia Arts Safety Conditions for Scaffolding:

Most construction accidents result from falls of workers or materials used. Preventive measures can be taken
to avoid falls from elevated areas as follows:

– Scaffolding design, installation, and use must comply with engineering authority specifications.

– The base of the scaffold must be on level ground to prevent shifting.

– Scaffold boards must be free of protrusions that hinder worker movement.

– They must also be free of paint that may hide defects.

– All scaffolds must be securely tied and fixed to ensure stability.

– If the building height exceeds two floors, scaffolds must be made of iron or aluminum
to guarantee durability and load-bearing capacity.
